Scooter Pie

Update: Scooter Pie is fully house broken to our doggy door and leashed trained. He's been enjoying chasing a ball and we've learned he understands watching TV! He was also the star at learning how to shake hands! He learned before his sisters - in one learning session. What a smart boy. He's also getting more handsome every day.
Scooter Pie was the first to be born and is the only boy in this litter.
We now have the results of his Puppy Aptitude Testing: Scooter Pie's test results show him to be a well balanced puppy, who is expected to learn easily and get along well with people and animals. He approached our strange tester quickly and was willing to follow her when asked.
Scooter Pie did not show a desire to be the leader of a pack, rather he is expected to be content following the wishes of his human family. He showed some interest in retrieving which is echoed by our observations that he enjoys chasing a ball. He also showed some potential for hunting ability via his ability to quickly scent and find a turkey feather. He did not show much sensitivity to strange sights, sounds or touch. We have not observed any inordinate fear of these things in his day to day life either - we have worked hard to desensitize the pups to noise in hopes that they will be like their mother who is not afraid of fireworks, thunder or vacuums.
Scooter Pie showed the highest level of food motivation! He was able to figure out how to get cheese which was hidden under a cup. Treats will work very well in training him. You can see pics here of some of the tests.
Scooter Pie is a mellow, easygoing puppy with medium energy who would be a good choice for a first time standard poodle owner, for families with kids, families with other pets etc. He is expected to be easy to train.
He's a beautiful brown boy with correct brown pigment. He's a very sweet boy and very smart. He was the second pup in the litter to grasp potty training! He is also very easy to groom as he shows no fear of the process.
Scooter Pie had no problems nursing and received no supplements until it was time to start eating other foods. His mothers milk provided him with perfect nutrition and immunity to diseases.
Early Neurological stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) have been completed. You can see a photo in the gallery of Scooter Pie sniffing cloves. He was the pup that enjoyed cloves the most. Other scents he has particularly enjoyed are apple and ginger.
Scooter Pie is fully potty trained to his doggy door to go outside to a protected fenced area. He learned to go through a tunnel on the first day he was exposed to it. He was the first puppy in the litter to learn to chase a ball!
